As we reach the midway point of the year, it’s an
opportune moment to reflect on transformations
at the Compassion Soup Kitchen. I want to express
my gratitude to our volunteers, staff, Sisters, and
donors for their unwavering dedication and
support.
Our commitment to providing meals twice daily,
six days a week is as important as ever. We’ve
observed consistently higher attendance
compared to previous years. Continuing to offer
takeaways has been instrumental in managing
increased demand, ensuring our dining area
remains comfortable and aligned with Suzanne
Aubert’s mission since 1901. It’s disheartening that
the demand for our Compassion Soup Kitchen
remains as pressing today as it was 123 years ago.
