This year for her birthday, Jaquie Brown, a well-known New Zealand television personality, set up a gift registry through the Good Registry, to support of the mahi of the Compassion Soup Kitchen in lieu of gifts. We are so thankful for Jaquie’s support of our mahi – and her birthday registry helped to cover the costs of breakfast for almost a fortnight!
The Good Registry allows anyone to set up a registry for an event, or to purchase gift cards to support local causes, instead of purchasing traditional gifts. We are thankful to be a part of this initiative which helps to minimise waste, encourages sustainability and kindness.
