Volunteering as a Compassion Soup Kitchen Appeal Collector
Our street appeal is the biggest fundraiser of our year and we need as many volunteers and collectors as possible to make it a success. For 2021, our Street Appeal is September 17 but we need people involved all throughout September, our appeal month. There are many great ways for schools, community groups and workplaces to support the members of our community doing it tough. Read on to find out about the volunteering opportunities available.
All funds raised from the appeal fund the Compassion Soup Kitchen services. As well as providing two hot meals a day, the Compassion Soup Kitchen offers a selection of services that help those in need live with dignity. Read more about our work here.
How can you help?

Be a Workplace Collector
Unable to get out of the office for the Street Appeal? No worries, pick up a collection bucket for the month of September and collect at your workplace instead.
To sign up as a workplace collector, fill in the form and include your workplace details in the note section.
Be an Event Collector
Want to do something different? Why not organise your own fundraiser? There’s nothing better than bringing people together for a good cause.
To sign up as an event collector, fill in the form below and include the details of the fundraiser you want to organise in the note section.
Stuck for ideas? We still want to hear from you and can assist in coming up with a suitable fundraising idea.
What happens next?
After you fill in the form, we will contact you if there is anything to discuss. Otherwise, we’ll be in touch in August 2021 with further information.
